A Family Affair. . .
I'm a retired teacher, and grandmother of six adorable girls--and three handsome boys. I began making bows for my daughter's twins, Addison and Lydia when they were born. Then my other granddaughters--Sophie, Nomi, Lily, and Claire happily tested bows and hair bands before I began offering them for sale. That was in 2011. I use quality ribbon (and I try to buy ribbon that's manufactured in the USA) and sturdy hair clips and bands. Some accessories are from my mother-in-law's cache of vintage buttons and notions, and others are trendy or holiday-themed.
I've made bows and other items for. . . . newborns, sports teams, baby showers, weddings, cheerleaders, birthday party bags, new citizens, family portraits, pooches that are up for adoption, centerpieces, christenings, men's buttonholes, cake toppers, shoes, ladies hats, and girls for every holiday under the sun . . . And, I'd love to make something special for your family, too!
If you live in Northern Virginia, you may see me and some of my family members selling Noggin Toppers at shows. Since I can't possibly include every item on this website, you should visit me in person!
I'm often at the Arlington Urban Market (near the Arlington Farmer's Market) at the Courthouse, off from N. 15th and N. Uhle Streets, on Saturday from 8:00 am to 2 pm.
Noggin Toppers will be at the Holiday Bazaar on the 1st Saturday in December at Washington-Lee High School, 1300 N. Quincy St., Arlington, VA.
Typically, I attend about 10 other shows in Northern Virginia each year. Contact me if you'd like to know when and where Noggin Toppers will be!
