A Family Affair. . .
I'm a retired teacher, and grandmother of 9 adorable girls--and 3 handsome boys. I began making bows for my daughter's twins, Addison and Lydia, when they were born. Then my other granddaughters--Sophie, Naomi, Lily, and Claire happily tested bows and hair bands before I began offering them for sale. That was in 2011.
I use quality ribbon (mostly ribbon that's manufactured in the USA) and sturdy hair clips and bands. Some accessories are from my mother-in-law's cache of vintage buttons and notions, and others are trendy or holiday-themed. My favorite items are sewn by hand.
I've made bows and other items for. . . . newborns, sports teams, baby showers, weddings, cheerleaders, birthday party bags, new citizens, family portraits, pooches that are up for adoption, centerpieces, christenings, men's buttonholes, cake toppers, shoes, ladies hats, and girls for every holiday under the sun . . .
And, I'd love to make something special for your family, too!
Since I can't possibly include every item on this website, you should visit me in person!
If you live in Northern Virginia, you may see me and some of my family members selling Noggin Toppers at shows. See the list on my homepage of events where I plan to sell.
I hope to see you there!
